Chamber Champions

The Chamber Champions Committee gathers every Tuesday at 4 p.m. at a different Chamber member location. This dynamic networking group connects to share updates on local businesses/non-profits and the community. With a focus on supporting each other, they generate leads to foster growth and collaboration which in turn faciliates increasing and retaining Chamber membership. The Chamber Champs also select the Chamber Member of the Month, recognized at the Chamber Networking Lunch.

Chamber Chiefs

The Chamber Chiefs are deeply involved, community-minded individuals. They lead the growth and success of Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber businesses by promoting collaboration, community involvement, and providing guidance in maximizing the benefits of Chamber membership.  You will see our Chiefs at Chamber and community functions such as:  Chamber Networking Lunch, ribbon cuttings, volunteering at a community breakfasts, parades, ground breakings, and much more.

Legislative Council

The members of the Legislative Council deal with issues that will affect the wellbeing of the business community in our great state. This committee works hand-in-hand with area legislators on House and Senate legislative issues. They travel to Boise once a year for “Chamber Days at the Legislature”. The members of the committee join together with other Idaho Chamber Alliance members from all over the state for 2 a day stay filled with legislative camaraderie, education, and good fun.

The Legislative Council meets the 3rd Thursday of each month when the legislature is not in session at 7:30am at the City Center Campus.  The Legislative Council meets every Thursday while the legislature is in session at 7:00am at the City Center Campus.  During this meeting they have a call with local legislators to work on legislative issues. Local Issues

Our Local Issues Committee offers a valuable chance to stay informed about important community matters. Members gain insight into key topics like street repairs, interstate access, local expansions, major local events, and more. This committee meets at 8am on the second Friday of each month at the Fairfield Inn.

Gate City Young Professionals

 

The Gate City Young Professionals (GCYP) primarily consists of individuals between the ages of 21 and 40, but is open to any professional with a youthful mindset. GCYP brings together young professionals from various industries in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area. The main goals of this group are: to improve professional and leadership skills, build meaningful business and personal relationships and gain valuable insights into our local business community. This committee provides opportunities for members to participate in master classes, service projects and fun social events! Education Committee

The Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Education Committee is committed to raising funds that go directly to support Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25 high school students participating in dual credit classes. Each year, the committee organizes a luncheon fundraiser to create awareness about the scholarship and solicit donations for the scholarship program. As part of the fundraiser, a well respected and renowned speaker is invited to the event to provide inspirational remarks.

The committee is comprised of representatives from School District #25, Idaho State University, local non-profits, and area businesses. Beautification Committee

The Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee is a group of individuals dedicated to promoting the beautification of our community. This committee organizes a spring cleaning of the trash that accumulates throughout the year called the Community-Wide Spring Cleanup. The committee encourages businesses to improve their properties by awarding a deserving business the Chamber Beautification Award every month at the Chamber Networking Lunch.

Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck

The Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck program is designed to bring together experienced and motivated individuals from various business sectors of our community to prepare and build leadership in the Pocatello-Chubbuck area.
